Double Shaft Screen Mixer

This machine is used to separete plant roots and weeds out of the clay material. The moistened raw-material in the mixer trough is kneaded severely by means of paddles. The augers in the exit section force the mud through screen filter.The mixing paddles and the augers are of wear resistant cast steel. Both mixing shafts are driven by means of a single gear box. Replacing of the fitler screens are performed through a hydraulic mechanism. Filter screens consist of four peices, while two of them in operation, the other two are at stand by. The screens could be replaced during the machine operation without stopping the production. The gear box is furthermore quipped with a clutching system in order to achieve a smooth start up.
